Chinthaka Ratyanake - "Ravi" - is a young, very talented designer and batik artist living in the beautiful tropical city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. He has a batik studio employing several local artisans. Ravi has worked with Edric Ong for many years, also producing Edric's batik designs. He has been awarded in his own county and travels to other areas of Asia to show his work, recently giving a presentation at the World Batik Council Show in Kuala Lumpur.
